About Us

The Master Builders Association of NSW (Master Builders) is the premier association for the building and construction industry across the state. As a not-for-profit organisation, it aims to represent and promote the interests of the building and construction industry.

Master Builders offers representation and services to members and the industry in key areas such as industrial relations, workplace health and safety, legal and contracts, training, industry research, and government regulation/legislation.

Established in 1873, Master Builders is Australia's oldest employer association in the building industry. With over 8,000 members in NSW and eight regional offices across the state, it is the only industry body that represents all sectors within the building and construction industry.

Master Builders Industry Research is an extension of the principles upheld by Master Builders. By collaborating with leading universities and consulting with the building and construction industry, we have successfully established Master Builders Industry Research as a valuable resource for the industry.
